Labour compliance
UIF and COIDA employer registration, done for you
You don't need to use the Veld app. Create a quick service login, fill in one form, upload your documents and pay online. Your application is only sent to our team once your payment is confirmed.
UIF employer registration
R450 once-off, includes you and one employee · + R25 per extra employee
For households, sole proprietors, companies, CCs, trusts and NPOs. Choose your employer type, add your employees and we prepare and lodge the registration with the Department of Employment and Labour.
Documents you'll upload
- Owner / responsible person ID copy (optional verification aid)
- Employee ID / passport copies (optional verification aid)
- Proof of employer address (optional verification aid)
- CIPC documents (optional verification aid)
- Signed UI-8 / UI-8D and UI-19 (if already completed)
- Signed agent authorisation (if available; Veld service document)
Official sources checked 16 October 2026. Registration uses UI-8 (business) or UI-8D (household), with UI-19 employee details. The sources reviewed do not establish ID copies or address proof as mandatory attachments; optional uploads help verification.
Online confirmation is not a signature on the Department’s forms. Our team must arrange signed registration/declaration forms and any agent mandate before lodging. Ongoing monthly declarations are separate from this once-off service.
Official forms and requirements
- UIF UI-8 employer registration
- UIF UI-8D domestic employer registration
- UIF UI-19 employee declaration
Official channel guidance is not fully consistent. A South African payroll professional or the relevant authority should confirm case-specific requirements; this is not a legal-compliance certification.
COIDA employer registration
R950 once-off
Apply for employer registration with the Compensation Fund. Provide preparation details and employer-specific documents; our team arranges the official form and signature. Registration approval and any assessments are separate from the Veld service fee.
Documents you'll upload
- Owner / director / trustee ID copy
- Proof of employer address
- CIPC registration certificate (companies / CCs / joint ventures) (optional or employer-specific)
- Partnership agreement (partnerships / joint ventures) (optional or employer-specific)
- Trustee letter of authority (trusts) (optional or employer-specific)
- Social Development NPO registration certificate (NPOs) (optional or employer-specific)
- Sectional title certificate (body corporates) (optional or employer-specific)
- Cabinet memo establishing entity / local authority (public entities) (optional or employer-specific)
- EMIS certificate (public schools) (optional or employer-specific)
- UIF registration proof (if already registered; channel may request it) (optional or employer-specific)
- Signed W.As.2 (if already completed) (optional or employer-specific)
- Bank confirmation letter (optional; not on new-registration checklist) (optional or employer-specific)
- Signed agent authorisation / letterhead (optional Veld service document) (optional or employer-specific)
Official sources checked 16 October 2026. The Fund’s new-registration manual specifies documents by employer type. A bank letter and a three-month address-proof limit are not stated in that checklist.
We collect preparation details, not an official W.As.2. Our team must confirm the current form, applicable earnings ceiling and submission channel, and arrange the required signature before lodging. Annual returns, assessments and Letters of Good Standing are separate.
